An additional €100 million from the PNRR (National Recovery and Resilience Plan) for municipalities, to be spent between January 20 and February 20, 2026, through the MePA platform.
2026 begins with a great opportunity for Italian businesses: the Department of Public Administration has allocated, with resources from the PNRR (National Recovery and Resilience Plan), an additional €100 million to municipalities with between 5,000 and 25,000 inhabitants, to be spent in full between January 20 and February 20, 2026.
The Resources may be used for purchases, to be made through the MePA Platform, of Goods and Services in the Product Categories indicated in the article.
Resources in the Municipality
Notice promoted by the Department of Public Administration, funded by the PNRR.
The "Risorse in Comune" (Resources in Common) Notice is aimed at all Italian municipalities with a resident population of between 5,000 and 25,000 inhabitants and has a total budget of €100 million.
The objective is to strengthen the administrative capacity of municipalities through the purchase of goods and services aimed at:
Improving work environments and tools
Empowering digital transformation
Enhancing human capital
Purchases must be made exclusively through the Public Administration Electronic Market (MEPA), choosing from the goods and services indicated in the Notice.

The catalog cards will be made available in preview to Economic Operators to allow the inclusion of goods and services before negotiations begin.
As specified in the Notice, municipalities may purchase the goods and services identified in the project between January 20 and February 20, 2026.
From January 20, 2026, catalog cards will be made visible and negotiable to Contracting Authorities.
